Is Digg Discounting Friend Votes?
So i was curious when watching one of my submissions, Ice Cream Man Arrested for Selling Marijuana, why i had over 20 votes and yet digg was only counting 10 of them.
Since buries do not reduce the digg count and the votes not counting added up to about the number of people that i have friended who voted, I have to make the assumption this is either a digg bug or an attempt at testing a system that would negate friend votes.
In the end digg said that is was a server error do to some DNS attacks they were receiving.
