SEO Rapper Chuck: The “Poetic Viral Marketer”
In social media, we are always talking about finding a way to take your service or product, and make it into something that is viral and will appeal to the majority of online users.
SEO Rapper, aka Chuck the “Poetic Prophet”, has done just that by taking his knowledge of SEO and putting it into a series of rap videos.
It’s “Lights Out” for Google
If you happen to visit Google today, Saturday March 29, 2008, you will notice they have turned the lights out on their homepage, in an effort to raise awareness of a worldwide energy conservation effort called Earth Hour.
Although the adjustment to the color of Google’s front page doesn’t actually save any money, they are hoping more people will participate in a one hour “lights out” event from 8:00pm - 9:00pm on Saturday, 29 March 2008.
Hats off to Google for helping out a good cause and finally giving us a different view of their homepage… even if for only one day.
Digg Extends the Time Limit on Upcoming Submissions
There has been a lot of conversations over the last few months about Digg’s changes to their algorithm. The amount of Diggs required for most users was increased dramatically and caused a lot of frustration. Where you used to require up to potentially 125 Diggs to reach the front page, users are noticing some submissions requiring well over 200 now.
