Every good party needs a cause… no?
Actually, every good party needs a great mix of people and free booze. Thanks to the members of the Internet Marketers of New York and the free drinks provided by their sponsors Best of the Web, there will be at least one good party everyone should attend during the SES conference in New York.
IM-NY and BOTW, will be putting on their 3rd Charity event on Tuesday, March 18. It will be at the Black Finn NY 218 East 53rd Street (map) from 8pm-Midnight with a $40 entrance fee that will go completely to charity. The alcohol you will consume, completely free of charge, will be paid for by Best of the Web.

Google Indented Results… From a Different Domain?
Google uses an indented result as when it finds multiple results from the same website, the most relevant result is listed first, with other relevant pages from that site indented below it. At least most of the time.
On occasion, I do a few vanity searches on keywords I want to rank for. I was searching “Social Media Consulting” on Google today, and noticed something odd with my result. Google gave me an indented result… from a different site.
Google Presents… Search Box in the Seach Results?
I was out searching some of the Google Trends terms and noticed that one of the search results pages provided me a nice little search box that would allow me to directly search that site without having to visit it first.
Google Getting Social? Can You Digg It?
Social Media might have been around for a while, being as social is such a vague term, but it has really been over the last year that we have seen a massive explosion in the popularity around the use of social media marketing.
Although there are many social communities people use, it was Digg that put social media marketing on everyones radar. It was the mass wave of traffic (”digg-effect“), often upwards of 100,000 UVs, and the many authoritative natural links sites received, that sold marketers on the need to get to that coveted “front page”.
