They are going to make you pay to follow more. Why wouldn't they? It's brilliant… and awful.

I've been following 2,000 for a few months now, and still can follow any more than this. I now have just over 500 followers and have made about the same number of tweets. I imagine once these two go up I will be allowed to start following more ppl… Quite annoying to say the least! @sam_anyroad

im actually getting fed up with only being allowed to follow 2000, because i have loyal followers that i cant follow back due to this limit. its stupid, because sites that let you BULK unfollow people that dont follow you back have been stopped by twitter so that you cant use them! twitter either needs to show you who isnt following you back, or sort this out. twitter is going to lose a lot of users.

hi Louis – did you ever get over the threshold, just curious? i am stuck at it too. following 2000, being followed by 1600. ugh!
