@overkill #FollowFriday

We all love FollowFriday on Twitter, when we throw out recommended people our followers should consider adding.

However, it seems like just about anything people can do for good, sometimes just gets overdone.

Today, Brien Peters (@BrienPeters) took #FollowFriday to overkill status as he blasted out what had to be about every single one of his followers as recommendations.

Well… at least we know if you happen to follow Brien you will defintely get a shoutout… or 2.. or 3..

Props to @pageoneresults, as he first tweeted about the FollowFriday overkill.

    yeah – it has definitely gone to overkill status.

    the other thing that kills me is that very few people give reason to follow someone else – eg: (great social strategist) or (expert SEM insights).

    would you ever tell someone to read someone else's blog and not say WHY? probably not. so the same thing should apply to FF. frankly it's just overdone at this point.
