Digg Cleans Up Navigation, Candidates, and Adds Olympics
Digg has made some new changes today that are worth noting, including “simplifying the navigation”, updating the Candidates section, and adding an Olympics section to the site.
I first noticed changes were coming when the navigation went gray, or tanish, for me, which is the new color for the upcoming section.
Then I noticed the Popular and Upcoming tabs had moved below the category links in what appears to be an attempt to increase the visibility of the “upcoming” pages.

Reddit Goes Open Source
Last night I wrote an article about Reddit’s big announcement party and the Tagging feature I discovered a little early. It turns out the feature “was the result of a prank, but we suspect tags will be one of the first features developed…”
Tonight is the announcement party where Reddit was supposed to deliver a surprise announcement. However, for some reason they have decided to release their surprise early through a video featuring the Reddit alien and a huge message.

Some of you might have heard that Reddit has planned a small event tomorrow, June 18, in order to make some significant announcements about some new changes to Reddit.com. You can also see the announcement from time to time if you visit the site, which is down from time to time for the new changes.

Recently I came across a site called 99Designs. They allow you to do small contests for designs and I figured it would be fun to give this site a real logo and started a contest.
It is just about over and I have some potential winners I have left in consideration.
