I had been looking forward to Pubcon 2007 all year and when Brett asked me to speak I was even more excited. Pubcon is the one conference where almost everyone will make the effort to attend.

First day before i had even made it into the conference I caught up with Marcus Tandler and walked forever to do a Webmasters on the Roof show on Social Media. I had been promising to do the show since SES San Jose and it was actually a lot of fun.

The next few days where mixed with speaking, networking, late night poker games with BOTW, Shoemoney, and even Neil Patel for about 5 minutes, as well as hitting Pure with Rubicon, who hooked up the private tables and let us cut that 400 person line.

Wasn’t much of a normal night until Todd Malicoat decided to buy 40 tickets to the Penn & Teller show and invite about everyone to join him. The list was long and we had one great group of marketers filling up the middle section of the show. Great show by the way, check it out if your in Vegas.

Thursday night we all gathered for the first ever official SEO Poker Tournament put on by PurposeINC as well as some sponsors like Patrick Sextant and BOTW. It was a lot of fun and I made it to the last three tables before being eliminated. Really looking forward to some more of these poker tournaments.

Friday was the pub in Pubcon and was a great number of hours spent networking and drinking with everyone.

Thanks to Neil, Barbara, Greg, Cesar, Dax, Todd, Todd Malicoat, Michael, BOTW, Chris and Danielle, Marcus, Dave, Andy, Ben and Eric, Rebecca and Rand, Matt, Vanessa, Brett, Danny, and a whole bunch more wrongfully left out, for making this years Pubcon one of the best conferences yet.
