You might have noticed the post Chris Winfield wrote earlier or the press release issued today, but 10e20 has officially acquired myself and my business. The acquisition may come as a bit of a shock to some, but I have known Chris Winfield since I started working in social media and during that time he has been a great friend and mentor to me. He has not only stopped me from making a few STFU moments, he has also helped me evolve in my view of social media and its ability to take online marketing to new levels (when done right).

I have always been a firm believer that social media is not a trend or something you could just do for a few minutes here and there as a band-aid approach to getting quick visibility or links. Social media is simply the format in which the evolving internet user wants to see their content and the manner in which they want to share, discuss, or add to it – and is thus here to stay.

As that evolution continues, I want to be able to provide the best possible social media marketing solutions to my clients. 10e20 and Chris Winfield have always been one of the few companies that share my mentality on social media marketing and in getting real results. They have been at the forefront in providing way for their (now our) clients ways to help communicate better with their customers, get more visibility and ultimately more return on their investment . So it was a no-brainer for me when we started talking about me coming in to take over the viral marketing team at 10e20.

I am really excited to work more directly with my new team, to provide even better reports, results, and services for our clients, as well as to continue surfing on the cutting edge of social media’s evolution.
